Biography
Hi, everyone, I came from China in
September 2007, to undertake a one-year joint Ph.D. program
between University of Texas at Austin and Nankai University
in Tianjin. I am supported by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
I was working in Dr. Danny Reible’s lab from Sep 2007
to Aug 2008. My focus
is bio-remediation of groundwater. Before this, I got my
master degree in major of Marine Ecology from Ocean
University of China. I am planning to defense in next year
sometime. Also, in spare time, I like running, badminton,
and diving.
Research
My research focuses on non-ideal adsorption and desorption of organic contaminants in soils and sediments as well as the effects on bioavailability of contaminated soil, sediment and groundwater. The projects I worked with in the past three years include Chinese National Science Foundation researches on bioavailability and reactivity of organic contaminants sequestered in soil.
