Script Detailed Description

JOINDATA creates virtual tables to hold the naUTilus output data. It then joins the naUTilus output to the attribute tables in ArcView.

naUTilus has been reconfigured to output two text files. One text file holds data on branches, such as flow and concentration in each branch. The other holds data on nodes, such as concentration in the liquid phase leaving the node, emissions from the node, and the gas flow rate. JOINDATA creates virtual tables in ArcView from these text files.

Once the virtual tables have been created, they can be joined to the node and branch attribute tables. The join is done by the unique identification number of each branch and node, as these are used both in ArcView and in the creation of the naUTilus input file.
