Notes:
Explain “fCi.” Monitoring changed from NW Perimeter (0.5 km) to Boundary Station 7 (1.6 km) at the end of 1971.
Two curves follow each other well. Notice how the curve drops off as releases from the facility decrease. The concentration scale here is logarithmic. Concentrations in the earliest years are over 1000 x what they are today. (Background is about 0.05).
Time resolution for predictions is one year. Thus, environmental measurements are converted to annual averages. However, I should mention that our examination of the environmental data was begun from the original analytical data sheets where the amounts of air drawn and the U measured on a given air filter was recorded by the laboratory.
Overall bias at perimeter is 1.0 (perfect agreement).
Overall bias at boundary is 0.6 (slight underprediction)
