My trip to Europe . . .

On JUne 4, 1999, myself and 3 daring friends, Kathy Brittian, Melissa Roesner, and Kim Tissier traveled abroad on a month long adventure.  We visited 9 countries, met some crazy people, and saw some amazing sights.  Here are some of the pictures of my journey:

Our itinerary:  London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich/Salzberg, Interlaken, Venice, Rome, Cinque Terre, St. Raphael, Paris

London, England

Look kids, it's Big Ben, Parliament.  This was the first sight we saw off the plane, and we were so excited, I must have 15 pictures of Big Ben!  It is really amazing to see in person.

Westminster Abbey, so full of history, and soap opera like sagas about Kings and Queens.  It's so beautiful!

Tower Bridge, popularly known as London Bridge, it looks like it's made from Legos.  A pretty compound, with the Crown Jewels, and Beefeaters running around.  The Europe crew:  Me, Melissa Roesner, Kim Tissier, and Kathy Brittian, in front of the Serpentine River

Brussels, Belgium

The Grand Place in Brussels, we looked down a little alley, and there it was!  It's amazing, the architecture,

the majestic buildings, the lace shops, the flowers, and the smell of Belgium waffles!

The Atomarium, a really cool park that's pretty unique and cool to see. Mannekin Pis, the statue of a peeing boy the whole city is obsessed with. They even dress him up like Elvis!  The story is, he peed on a canon which was on fire in a field and stopped the fire from spreading.
