Deadlines

17-Apr

AWWA brownbag slides (4/21) ( a summary of the model)

Prepare for Wed meeting: incorporate future conditions explanation, improve slides, get model up and running.  Web site improvements

24-Apr

Flood meeting slides (a summary of data development and land use projections)

COA flood meeting 4/26

1-May

COA meeting 5/4

8-May

Develop new channel erosion methodology; Patrice's methodology which reflects a relationship between drainage area and concentration seems to be a possibility.

[FINALS]

15-May

Received data; began running model for current conditions

Have first run for flows; need to calibrate.  What data should we be trying to "match"?

22-May

Using data from USGS gauges, calculated mean flows; corrected for PRISM period of record.  Model results (of 4th run) within confidence interval.

Onto loads!

29-May

Using new data (received 5/22) to develop EMC tables for baseflow.  And ran the model for loads with these new values.  Developing NEW runoff/concentration relationships seems to be time prohibitive.

Concentrations do NOT have significant correlation with drainage area -- thus the Patrice's channel erosion methodology isn't the new "answer"

5-Jun

For baseflow loads, there seems to be an error in the script -- or the way I run the script -- resulting concentrations are less than input concentrations.  What BMP assumptions should I be using – the same from Phase I (p. 150(166) of Christine’s thesis)?

Need to change the calculation of recharge calculations to incorporate baseflow/stormflow separation.

Outline

12-Jun

Worked on Chapter 9 of the ArcHydro book.  Developed table of osbserved values.  Recalculated flows based on new baseflow relationship.

CH1&2

19-Jun

Started thesis – very much a work in progress!

CH3

26-Jun

Putting all the pieces together for current conditions.  – including channel erosion methodology

Need to apply the future land use methodology that seems to be in my head but not in any tangible form.
