Monica and I were married March 18, 1984 on a cool spring morning at the Zilker Rose Gardens. It had been a particularly cold winter and the only thing in bloom was a white dogwood tree.
Maya Theresa Kaough
Maya was born one year later on March 18, 1985 right across the river from where Monica and I were married. This time everything was in full bloom including Maya. Maya is now a 7th grade student at the Austin Waldorf School. She plays the flute, loves to dance ballet, is an excellent artist, loves pen pals and reading books. She is also a "math wizard" in her class.
Elena Alice Kaough
Elena was born November 30, 1989 during blustery fall weather. She came into the world as though she were anxious to get on with life on this planet. Elena is a 3nd grader at the Austin Waldorf School. She loves to be read to and is enjoying learning how to read herself. She plays hard and is very lively. Horses are her favorite animals.
