Lesley Hay Wilson,
Ph.D., P.E.
Dr.
Hay Wilson has more than 12 years of experience in environmental risk
management including: corrective action, environmental compliance and regulatory
and legislative affairs. Dr. Hay Wilson is a Principal in Sage Risk Solutions LLC; a consulting firm
specializing in environmental risk management for commercial, industrial and
Brownfields properties. Her research
interests include exposure assessment, risk analysis and the use of Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) in environmental risk management. Prior to her involvement in Sage Risk
Solutions, she was employed by BP Exploration & Oil Inc. (BP) in environmental
engineering positions.
She
holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University (1987), a
M.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, from
the University of Texas at Austin (1998), a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the
University of Texas at Austin (2000) and is a registered professional engineer
in Georgia.
Dr. Hay Wilson is a principal author of the
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Provisional Standard Guide
for Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) (PS104-98) and the final Standard Guide
for Risk-Based Corrective Action (E2081-00).
She is active in the ASTM E50 Committee on Environmental
Assessment. She was active in the
development of the Standard Guide for Risk-Based Corrective Action for
Petroleum Releases (ASTM E1739-95) and the RBCA State Regulatory Personnel
Training and the ASTM user-training program.
