Nonpoint Source Pollution in Corpus Christi Bay

The objective of this project is to evaluate the possible pollution
in the upstream of Corpus Christi Bay including the city of
Corpus Christi by Arc/Info method.
A base map of the study area has been built. The scope of the
remaining work may include:
- The annual runoff calculateed based on the combinations
of precipitation, snowmelt, land use on the watershed response.
- Expected pollutant concentration related to land use,
density and types industry and treatment plant.
- Downstream pollutant loadings determined
- Downstream pollutant concentrations compared to observations.
The pollutant evaluated may include total nitrogen, total phosphorus,
total solid, total lead, BOD, COD.
