Lake Burragorang...

provides drinking water for the city of Sydney, Australia.  I was involved in some of the 3D modeling of the reservoir funded by Sydney Water.  This modeling was in progress when an unusual winter storm in 1998 rapidly flushed the catchment and led to detection of cryptosporidium at the dam offtake.
