Welcome to the Center for Construction Industry Studies' (CCIS) Website. CCIS was established to promote research on issues of critical importance to the competitiveness of the U.S. construction industry, and as a conduit between industry and the educational mission of the Construction Engineering and Project Management (CEPM) program at the University of Texas at Austin. CCIS acts as a catalyst for industry progress and assists with the development and exchange of information and ideas. CCIS researchers represent a wide range of disciplines with a focus on engineering and business administration. CEPM faculty, other researchers from University of Texas departments, and faculty from several other institutions have collaborated on research important to the industry that in turn, yield educational opportunities for our students.
