Zornberg Elected President of International Geosynthetics Society

Jorge Zornberg, Associate Professor in geotechnical engineering, has been elected president of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS). The IGS President is elected by direct vote of the entire membership. Zornberg's 4 year-term will start at a General Assembly to be held in Guarujá, Brazil, on May 26, 2010.
