Doctoral Student Receives Best Poster Award
Sarah Taylor Lange
Sarah Taylor Lange, a doctoral student in the structural engineering, mechanics, and materials program, was one of six poster presenters recognized for exceptional quality of work at the American Ceramics Society (ACerS) Cements Division meeting held at Vanderbilt University, July 24-26, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee. Sarah was recognized for her poster "Concrete Constituent Contributions to Indoor Radon Emissions."
Sarah received her BS and MS degrees from UC Davis and UCLA respectively. She is co-supervised by Dr. Maria Juenger and Dr. Jeff Siegel.
