
Fernanda Leite, Associate Professor in construction engineering and project management, was selected as a recipient of the Construction Industry Institute (CII) Distinguished Professor Award for 2011. The award honors faculty who incorporated published CII research findings in the courses they taught over the previous calendar year. Leite will be recognized at the CII Annual Conference held in July 2011 in Chicago, Illinois.
Her research and teaching focus on computer-aided engineering and design; product and process modeling; construction management; building information modeling; information technology for project management; life-cycle information integration; collaboration and coordination technologies; building energy performance.
