
Associate Professor Todd Helwig has received the 2010 Special Achievement Award from the American Institute of Steel Construction. He was recognized "for his leadership in the area of stability of steel structures and, in particular, for his work on the development of bridge girder bracing systems, and for his work in developing and presenting short courses on bracing for stability."
The award honors individuals who have demonstrated notable achievements in structural steel design, construction, or education.
