Former Transportation Student is Recipient of Charley V. Wootan Memorial Award

Bharath Rajagopalan (MSCE 2008) is the 2009 recipient of the Charley V. Wootan Memorial Award for the best MS thesis in North America in the field of Transportation Planning and Policy. The award will be given at the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) meeting to be held in Washington, D.C. in January 2010. There are approximately 75 universities that are part of CUTC, which makes this award particularly competitive.
Professor Chandra Bhat was Rajagopalan's advisor as a graduate student.
