Printing (Students)

The Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Learning Resource Center provides printing from the PC platform. The resources provided by the lab are restricted to Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering students, faculty, and staff and students currently enrolled in any CAEE course.

Facts

• Laser printing in LRC is done on a quota system.
• Color printing is available and is included in the quota system.
• All the printers are accessed through the network. You have to be connected to the network prior to sending your jobs to the printers.
• CE-LRC PCs can print from Windows 2000, Windows XP, the MS-DOS Command Prompt (within Win2000).

• Every student is given a print quota of $100 per semester. Click here to check your print quota.

Laser $0.05 per single or double sided page 

• One 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 HP LaserJet 8150DN in ECJ 3.400 (LRC_Laser1)
• One 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 HP LaserJet 8150DN in ECJ 3.306 (LRC_Laser2)
• One 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 HP LaserJet 8150DN in ECJ 3.302 (LRC_Laser3)
• One 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 HP LaserJet 8150N in ECJ 3.301 (LRC_Laser4)

Color $0.40 per single or double sided page

• One 8.5 x 11 HP LaserJet 4550DN laser printer in the CE-LRC output site, ECJ 3.304 (Color_Laser)

Plotter $0.25 per square foot

• One C size (18"x24") , D size  (24"x36") color, E size (36”x42”) or black&white HP DesignJet 5500ps plotter in the CE-LRC output site, ECJ 3.304.
