Opportunities for Students
There are many ways for students to extend their education beyond the classroom. These students are in Panama experiencing a unique, field-based development study abroad program. Plenty of opportunities are available on campus, as well.
The CAEE department,
the Cockrell School
and Engineering, and The University of Texas offer much more than courses to provide an enriching experience for students. Check out the department’s calendar of events to learn more about upcoming seminars and meetings. Student organizations provide both undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to meet other students, interact with professional engineers, serve the greater community, and work on challenging projects. Engineering students can study abroad and earn credit toward their degree and participate in the cutting edge research that makes the CAEE department nationally recognized.
